Billing & Referrals

We aim to make billing and referrals as straightforward and transparent as possible. Below is an overview of the billing options and referral pathways accepted at Banks & Dade.

If you’re unsure which option applies to you, our team is always happy to help.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management (Care Plans)

We accept GP Chronic Condition Management Plan GPCCMP for eligible patients.

A valid referral from your GP is required. Medicare rebates apply, with any out-of-pocket costs discussed with you at the time of booking.

If you have a current Care Plan and would like to book, please let our team know when making your appointment.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)

We welcome Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) White Card and Gold Card holders.

  • A valid GP referral is required

  • Eligible services are billed directly to DVA

  • No payment is required on the day for approved services

If you’re unsure whether your referral is current or which services are covered, our team can assist.

WorkCover & workplace injuries

Banks & Dade are approved WorkCover practitioners.

If you have sustained a workplace injury, treatment may be covered subject to:

  • An approved WorkCover claim

  • Referral and claim requirements

We regularly support patients with work-related and workplace injuries, including those in physically demanding roles such as trades and manual work.

If you’re unsure whether your injury is covered, we recommend contacting our clinic so we can help guide you through the process.

Private health & self-funded care

We accept most private health funds. Claims can be processed at the time of your appointment, depending on your level of cover.

Self-funded appointments are also available, with fees discussed clearly at the time of booking.
