A Banks and Dade we look at your specific stressors and assist you to take positive actions to minimize their effects on you. This may incorporate tuning of your nervous system, looking at how you digest your food and how your brain is working, to reframing your current situation.
Stress is a physiological reaction to a threat to us (or those we care about). It is designed to keep us safe and support us to run from the danger or fight the danger off. Any recommended strategies are explained clearly, and follow-up appointments focus on reviewing how you are responding, refining care and supporting ongoing balance over time.
In some cases, practitioner-only supplements may be suggested as part of a broader stress management plan. These recommendations are made during appointments, based on individual circumstances and professional assessment. Supplements are never prescribed without consultation and are discussed openly to ensure they align with your overall wellbeing goals.
